OSHA’s ETS requires that employers with more than 10 employees must:

Establish and maintain a separate COVID-19 log to record each instance identified by the employer in which an employee is COVID-19 positive.

Include each confirmed case of COVID-19 even if the employee was asymptomatic and even if the case was not caused by an exposure in the workplace.

Record the case on the COVID-19 log within 24 hours of learning that the employee has a confirmed positive test for COVID-19 or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 by a licensed healthcare provider.

Maintain and update the COVID-19 log while the OSHA ETS remains in effect.
